Rules & Regulations The organizing committee intends to strictly enforce the USA Table Tennis rules (http://www.usatt.org/rules/index.shtml) and expects full co-operation from all of the players involved.
  • Maximum 50 registered players.
  • Games are going to be played to 11 points. Each side serves for two points then serve switches. A match is the best 2 out of 3.
  • You must win by 2 points. At 10-10 the score is deuce and the players alternate serves.
  • If you volley the ball (hit it prior to its bounce) over the table surface you lose the point. If you try to volley the ball after it has missed the table, the point is yours as your opponent failed to make a legal return.
  • When playing a singles game, you can serve from any position to any position. In doubles game, you serve from the right side of the court to your opponent's right side of the court.
  • Playing clothes should consist of a short-sleeved shirt and shorts or skirt, socks and playing shoes, other garments, such as jeans shouldn’t be worn during the game.
